For the first day of M week we made masks and learned about money. We looked at all the different coins and tried to learn how much they were worth. I am not sure how much they learned from the money lesson, but they could at least tell heads and tails on all the different coins.

On the second day we made monkey magnets and talked about how the mail worked. We did a couple of work sheets and instead of taking them home, put them in the mail. Hopefully everyone got their worksheets in the next day or two.

Jayden brought this mask for circle time. It was a big hit! At the end when everyone was waiting for their parents to come they made up a game of tag and whoever was it had to wear the mask.

FIELD TRIP NOTE:

I scheduled a field trip to the Tree House Museum on February 25th at 10:30. It will cost $3.50 per child over the age of one (adults are free). They said that it would take an hour and a half and it will be based on a jungle animal theme.
